I wanted to thank you for your support at the Hawaii State Convention last weekend.
Because of your work, we won three new delegate positions in Hawaii and elected Brian Schatz as the new Party Chair. We also secured the Party Vice Chair and add-on delegate seats at the State Central Committee meeting, picking up two additional delegates.
Many of you traveled long distances to participate, taking time away from work and family, and I'm grateful for all that you did.
You've been leaders of our grassroots movement for more than a year, and you brought us where we are today.
As we prepare to compete against John McCain in Hawaii in the fall, I'm glad to be able to count on your continued help and support.
Hawaii will always hold a special place in my heart, and I thank you again for all that you've done to build this movement.
Barack
P.S. -- Not all delegates and alternates are on our email list, so please pass on my thanks to anyone you know who came out. Give them a call for me and tell them their support made a big difference.

Aloha Maui Delegates:
What an amazing weekend!
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Party Chair. I was especially thankful and thrilled at the overwhelming margin that you all delivered for me from Maui County.
Thanks so much - I will be there as soon as possible, and I'm looking forward to working with you.
Aloha,
Brian
